Healthcare for Ukrainians
We've created some useful resources for households in Herefordshire that are supporting displaced Ukrainian families as part of the Homes for Ukraine programme.
These are available in English and Ukrainian to help both the Ukrainian families themselves and those who are hosting them. Please use the buttons below to access and download the resources.
We recommend that host families read through the How to Access the NHS in Herefordshire booklet so that they are up-to-date with the way NHS services are being delivered locally.
We've created translated versions of the GP registration forms, which all new arrivals will need to complete in order to register with a GP.
Your local Primary Care Network or the local authority may recommend Ukrainian families register at a particular practice in your area. If this is the case, your contacts at your local council will let you know.
You can download the relevant forms from this page and take them with you to your GP practice when registering, if they’re not already provided in the local authority's welcome pack.
We hope this information is helpful to both those newly arriving in our wonderful county, and to those generous enough to open up their homes.
