On Tuesday 20 July, Dr Mike Hearne (Taurus Healthcare's MD) took part in a live Facebook Q&A session alongside fellow panel members, Dr Silvana McCaffery (GP at Kington Surgery and Clinical Director for North & West PCN) and Ceri Chaplin (Business Manager at Hereford Medical Group).

The session was hosted by Healthwatch Herefordshire, chaired by Christine Price (Healthwatch’s Chief Officer).

Questions from the public included issues to do with digital exclusion, managing waiting lists and pressures on GP services.

The session was also used to premiere a new film created by Healthwatch and Taurus on behalf of Herefordshire General Practice. This aims to raise greater public awareness of care navigation, additional roles and some of the pressures GPs are under.
